About Alex
Alex Noelle is a singer-songwriter, emotional storyteller, and certified music therapist. Her honest-to-a-fault lyrics are relatable, insightful, and at times, playfully dark. Mixed with a pure vocal tone and rhythm-driven instrumentals, her sound blends the likes of Sara Bareilles, Hozier, and Maggie Rogers.
Noelle’s childhood in New Jersey was filled with music from the start. From age 9, she focused on performing, songwriting, collaborating, and training with piano, voice, and percussion, with guitar and ukulele to be added in college. Many childhood experiences with loss, love, and mental health challenges led her to rely on music for healing, which became her inspiration to pursue a career as a music therapist in Philadelphia. Throughout this time, Alex also performed at venues like the White House, the Mann Music Center, and the Kimmel Center, and recorded and performed with her a cappella group, OwlCappella.
In 2018, Alex Noelle officially relocated to Nashville to pursue a full-time artist career and began performing regularly at local venues. Her most recent highlight was a performance at Nashville’s International Women’s Day celebration at the Parthenon. In her upcoming series of single releases, Noelle hopes that her songs can offer connection and catharsis for all of the life stuff that is hardest to sit with alone. Keep an eye out on all streaming platforms for her next release, coming soon!
